Our PhD student received the Silesian Science Award

We are pleased to announce that a PhD student from our Department, Justyna Mika, M.Sc., received the Silesian Science Award 2022! The ceremony took place on 18 March as part of the 6th Silesian Science Festival Katowice. This is a way of appreciating people who significantly contribute to the development and promotion of Silesian science.

It is worth mentioning that this is the second such award in our team. The beneficiary of the first edition of this competition in 2017 was Prof. Joanna Polańska.

We congratulate the winner and wish her further success!
