21 kwietnia 2020 roku (wtorek) o godzinie 10:00 odbędzie się otwarte spotkanie społeczności akademickiej z Kandydatem na Rektora Politechniki Śląskiej – prof. dr. hab. inż. Arkadiuszem Mężykiem.
Spotkanie będzie transmitowane na kanale YouTube Telewizji Interentowej Politechniki Śląskiej.
W poniedziałek 20.04.2020 ok. godz. 14.00 do pracowników i studentów posiadających konto e-mail w domenie polsl.pl zostaną rozesłane linki do transmisji i czatu, przewidzianego na zadawanie pytań Kandydatowi.

O spotkaniu
Uczelniana Komisja Wyborcza dokonała rejestracji jednego Kandydata na Rektora Politechniki Śląskiej – prof. Arkadiusza Mężyka. 9 kwietnia 2020 r. kandydatura obecnego Rektora została pozytywnie zaopiniowana przez Senat Uczelni.
Otwarte spotkanie społeczności akademickiej z JM Rektorem prof. Arkadiuszem Mężykiem będzie prowadzone z wykorzystaniem telewizji internetowej Politechniki Śląskiej. W jego trakcie przewidziano 25-minutową prezentację Kandydata oraz czas na zadawanie pytań i wysłuchanie odpowiedzi.
Pytania ze strony związków zawodowych działających przy Politechnice Śląskiej, Samorządu Studenckiego oraz Samorządu Doktorantów (nie więcej niż po trzy), a także ze strony członków wspólnoty Uczelni (nie więcej niż po jednym) można przesyłać w dniach od 16 do 20 kwietnia br. (do godz. 10:00) na adres mailowy UKW@polsl.pl.
Ponadto członkowie wspólnoty Uczelni mogą zadawać pytania na czacie (nie więcej niż po jednym) podczas spotkania z Kandydatem.
Spotkanie otwarte dla wszystkich członków społeczności akademickiej poprowadzi przewodniczący Uczelnianej Komisji Wyborczej, odpowiedzialnej za organizację wyborów na Politechnice Śląskiej. Całość spotkania przewidziano na nie dłużej niż 2,5 godziny.

About the meeting
The University Electoral Commission has registered one Candidate for the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology - Professor Arkadiusz Mężyk. On 9 April 2020, the candidacy of the current Rector was approved by the Senate of the University.
The open meeting of the academic community with His Magnificence Rector Professor Arkadiusz Mężyk will be conducted using the internet television of the Silesian University of Technology. At the course of the meeting the Candidate will give a 25-minute presentation. Time to ask questions and listen to the answers will also be provided.

From 16 to 20 April this year (until 10:00 a.m.) questions can be sent to the following email address UKW@polsl.pl. From the Trade Unions, operating at the Silesian University of Technology, Student Government and Doctoral Students' Government (no more than three questions each), from the members of the University community (no more than one question per person).
Moreover, members of the University community can ask questions in chat (no more than one question) during the meeting with the Candidate.
The meeting is open to all members of the academic community. It will be chaired by the Chairman of the University Electoral Commission responsible for the organization of elections at the Silesian University of Technology. The whole meeting is scheduled for no more than 2.5 hours.
