Students of AEI Faculty involved in the development of COVID-19 systems for recording and monitoring infected persons
The District Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Gliwice sent thanks to the Silesian University of Technology for its participation in the development and implementation of a system for collecting data and automated generation of decisions, documents and reports on persons in contact with coronavirus (e.g. infected, cured and in quarantine).
It is worth noting that the students of our Faculty: Weronika Jargieło, Milena Piekoszewska, Dominika Jantas, Małgorzata Puk, Adam Meihsner, Szymon Filipiak, Julia Kot, Marcin Kula, Michał Rawicki, studying at the specialization Bioinformatics, were involved in the project
The project leader, Professor Dariusz Mrozek, Deputy Dean for Cooperation and Development at the Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Sciences of Silesian University of Technology, is extremely grateful to the students for their time and commitment. It is gratifying that the students of our faculty could actively participate in the implementation of real IT projects, especially those serving such a noble cause as the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
