Laboratory of Biomedical Electronics
In the Laboratory of Biomedical Electronics students are introduced to modern biological signal acquisition systems as well as cardiac pacemakers, which are devices that deliver signals to the patient's heart. A tomography model is also presented. In addition, students can design, build and test simple biological amplifiers.
The laboratory is equipped with:
- National Instruments PCI6221 and USB6211 cards to be used as universal signal acquisition systems running under LabVIEW environment.
- FLUKE ProSim4 and FLUKE ProSim8 biological signal simulators.
- FLUKE Spot Light Pulse Oximeter Tester.
