Start - MGR TELE – Teleinformatics
The Faculty of AEiI allows all its graduates of engineering studies to continue their studies at the second degree (master's) studies.
Teleinformatics (TI), master degree (full-time)
Characteristics
Teleinformatics combines two fields whose development has an incredible impact on the functioning of the modern world: computer science and telecommunications. Until recently, the studies were treated as interdisciplinary, but now they are conducted within the discipline of technical informatics and telecommunications, due to the very strong permeation of both areas, i.e. computer methods and data transmission.
Master's degree program in Information Technology includes three specializations. The Cloud Technologies specialization is addressed to people interested in gaining knowledge related to the construction and functioning of IT solutions that comprise e.g. the cloud computing system. The Teleinformatics Autonomous Systems specialization is aimed at embedded systems used mainly in autonomous systems. Mobile Systems are addressed to people interested in the construction, operation and use of elements of modern mobile ICT systems.
Student profile
The specialization is addressed to people interested in gaining knowledge related to the construction and functioning of IT and telecommunication solutions, and to some extent electronic ones.
Prerequisites
Completed engineering degree in a technical field, preferably related to data communications (data communications, computer science, electronics and telecommunications).
Issues
The study plan includes general courses (languages and humanities), directional courses common for all specialties, specialization and elective courses. Students acquire knowledge in their chosen specialization. Common directional subjects include content from the areas of:
- Engineering computing environments
- Analog and digital data acquisition systems
- Python in computing
- Numerical methods
- Optimization methods
- Microwave technology
- Digital signal processing
- Mobile technologies
- LINUX in embedded systems
- PLCs and industrial networks
- Algorithmic methods of digital circuits synthesis
Specializations
Students make their choice of specialization at the time of enrollment. Offered are:
- Cloud Technologies (TCh)
- Teleinformatics Autonomous Systems (TSA)
- Mobile Teleinformatics Systems (TSM)
Graduate profile
Depending on the chosen specialization, graduates can find employment as high working professionals in the field of ICT systems and in the area of cloud technologies. The third specialization covers autonomous systems, so graduates can get jobs in companies with a profile related to artificial intelligence and embedded systems.
