Start - MGR TELE SPEC – Cloud Technology (TCh)
Specialization: Cloud Technology (TCh)
ICT, Master’s degree (stationary)
Specialization characteristics
Cloud Computing is one of the most dynamically developing services distribution model for ICT. In this model, users define their processing demands and lease the necessary infrastructure, software and computing resources as services from a specialized provider. It ensures high flexibility, scalability and variety of the provided IT solutions, at competitive costs in comparison to on premise approach.
The teaching content of Cloud Technology specialization covers the vast problems of implementation and use of cloud systems and their services. Types of cloud services, virtualization techniques for systems, applications and networks with their performance analysis as well as network solutions for data centers will be discussed. Moreover cloud computing application in control systems or VoiP services will be presented along with discussion on transmission protocols and audio-video processing algorithms. An interesting extension, that falls into the IT development path, can be an introduction to the principles of quantum information processing with demonstration of it capability to solve the problems impossible to solve using classical techniques.
