Start - APTIV lab
APTIV Laboratory
The APTIV Electronics Laboratory, located in Room 919 of the AEiI Faculty, was opened in June 2019. Its main task is to carry out research in the field of broadly understood automotive electronics jointly by students and employees of the AEiI Faculty and APTIV employees. The laboratory was equipped by APTIV with the latest measuring equipment, including: multi-channel oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, signal generators, evaluation kits, soldering stations, and computers.

Noteworthy is the unique formula of cooperation aimed at the real involvement of students in research work: students of the AEI Faculty are employed by the University to carry out works commissioned by Aptiv and carry them out under the supervision of the company's employees and employees of the Faculty. Thanks to this formula, students gain the opportunity to take up gainful employment and gain professional experience without leaving the Faculty building. The laboratory employs students of all fields of study at the AEI Faculty.
Work currently underway in the laboratory is focused on two main areas:
1. Designing and preparing prototypes of electronic devices: creating diagrams, calculations, and computer simulations, measuring the properties of electronic components, designing printed circuits, assembly and commissioning of device prototypes, and verification of the assumed device parameters.
2. Preparation of test systems for electromagnetic compatibility studies: design of optical, fiber optic communication interfaces, preparation of test beams, design of measuring devices, analysis, and configuration of test scripts.
The laboratory also conducts training in the areas of printed circuit board design, project planning, and preparation of project documentation. The laboratory is also used for the implementation of program activities, design works, and the implementation of engineering projects and master's theses. The laboratory also cooperates with research clubs operating at the Faculty.
We are constantly recruiting students to work on electronic projects in the field of widely understood electronics.
We invite all enthusiasts of electronics, in particular analog and digital electronics.
We offer a job without leaving the AEI Department. If you are interested in taking up employment, please send your CV to the following address dwojcik@polsl.pl
