How to check what has been retained in quarantine?

This can be done in two ways.

  1. Read the "Quarantine Summary" report sent by email twice a week, on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. The report contains information about new items retained in quarantine since the previous report was sent.
  2. You can visit at any time the website https://kwarantanna.polsl.pl. For technical reasons, instead of a login, the full e-mail address (e.g. jan.woreczko@polsl.pl) and the password for your account must be entered in the "user" field. If you have additional addresses (aliases) within the same account, you have to log in to each address separately. Quarantines are separate for each e-mail address, even if these addresses are assigned to one account (mailbox).

Quarantine has stopped an email that is not spam. What should I do?

You can:

  1. Open the "Quarantine Summary" report sent by e-mail and click "Send" in the "Available options" column. This will send the retained email to the inbox on the mail server.
    or
  2. Log in to the quarantine server at https://kwarantanna.polsl.pl, highlight the desired message and then click the "Release" button. This will send the retained email to the inbox on the mail server. In order to log in to the quarantine, instead of a login, in the "user" field you should enter your full e-mail address (e.g. Jan.Woreczko@polsl.pl) and the password for your account. If you have additional addresses (aliases) within one account, you have to log in to each address separately. Quarantines are separate for each e-mail address, even if these addresses are assigned to one account (mailbox).

What can be done so that messages from specific senders are not retained in the quarantine?

You can add the sender to the white list. Messages from him will not be retained in the quarantine. To do this, log on to the quarantine server at https://kwarantanna.polsl.pl, click "Preferences", in the "Manage anti-spam mechanisms" section click the "whitelist..." link, enter the relevant email address and click "Add".In addition, a function is enabled by default that automatically adds "Released" mail from the quarantine to the whitelist of senders.

Do I need to clear my quarantine?

It is not necessary, the oldest messages will be deleted automatically if necessary.
