Report from the lecture of prof. Carmelo D'Agostino

Prof. Carmelo D'Agostino from Lund University visited the Silesian University of Technology on June 30, 2023-July 6, 2023. During his stay, the ERC grant researcher gave an open lecture for the University community, attended by both students and PhD students, as well as scientists. The lecture was entitled "Virtual reality and simulation as a tool". After the lecture, a session of questions for the guest was held, which resulted in a discussion about the future of transport systems and vision zero in relation to road safety, with saving human life as the main goal.
