As part of the research activity carried out by the employees of the Faculty of Organization and Management of the Silesian University of Technology, a team of scientists was formed. The research team undertakes research on PRA1 in the field of broadly understood impact of social sciences on human health. The team carries out research in three thematic areas, i.e. :
- Health tourism and sustainable business models of spa treatment enterprises,
- Personalized health services for people with special needs,
- Health and fitness versus human biography and life cycle.
The issues formulated in the context of the implementation of the above-mentioned topics are related to the assumptions of two research projects. The first is a research project financed by the National Science Center in Krakow and implemented at the Silesian University of Technology by prof. dr hab. eng. Adam Szromek. The subject of the project is: Business model in spa enterprises (PBU 13/010 / PBU18 / 0030). The second is a project by Dr. Joanna Bartnicka, entitled "Smart learning for gait physiotherapy - a standardized tool for health higher education in Europe" (2020-1-PL01-KA203-082292 Erasmus + Program).
