Portal with Open Cultural and Scientific Resources
KRONIK@, or the National Repository of Scientific and Cultural Objects, is a free ITC system operated by the Ministry of Digital Affairs. It enables the collection and sharing, in a single place, of digital resources related to Poland’s national heritage in the fields of science, culture, and public administration.
KRONIK@ is an advanced multi-search engine that integrates resources previously dispersed across various public-sector entities (including museums, archives, galleries, scientific institutes, libraries, and universities). Any user can access it free of charge, create their own collections of cultural and scientific objects, and freely use them in their work, projects, or academic research. At the same time, KRONIK@ serves as a free backup repository—a space for the archiving of digital resources.
