The IBUK Libra service contains Polish e-books published by scientific publishers, such as PWN (Polish Scientific Publishers), WNT (Scientific and Technical Publishers), WKŁ (Transport and Communication Publishers), PZWL (medical publishing).
Subscription to the database provides access to full-text books and more than a thousand free publications in various fields, including computer science, economics, mathematics and natural sciences. Access to a given publication is possible for 5 simultaneous users.
Every month, one of PWN's new books is posted on the IBUK LIBRA website. The "book of the month" can be read for 30 days.
The in-text search engine in IBUK LIBRA browses not only the metadata: description of the book, title, keywords, but also searches the entire content of the publication (inside books). It is a particularly useful tool for those who are looking for materials for their thesis, moreover, when the topic is marginal and it is difficult to find publications devoted to a given subject.
