The Reaxys database is a chemical database produced by Elsevier B.V. It contains the complete data set from the earlier databases Beilstein (structures and reactions, physicochemical and ecopharmacological properties with bibliography for organic compounds) and Gmelin (inorganic and organometallic compounds), and additionally patent data from all English-language patent offices and the major Asian ones. The database indexes more than 16,000 journals in chemistry and related sciences. Reaxys offers an intuitive user interface, allowing queries to be entered in plain language.
