RULES FOR APPLYING
FOR PLACES IN STUDENT HOUSES
IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR

- Applications for student house accommodations for the 2026/2027 academic year must be submitted exclusively through the USOSweb system. Other forms of dormitory application will not be accepted.
- Students who are currently residents of a given student house and have student status, and who were accommodated by October 17, 2025, in the 2025/2026 academic year, must complete the "dormitory application" in the USOSweb system to obtain a dormitory accommodation in the 2026/2027 academic year.

Applications can be registered in USOSweb from May 22, 2026, to June 17, 2026.
The decision regarding accommodation for the 2026/2027 academic year will be sent to the email address in the polsl.pl domain by June 24, 2025. In the USOSweb system,
the application will have a status of either approved or denied.
- Students who do not meet the requirements listed in point 2 must complete the "Dormitory Application" in the USOSweb system between June 18, 2026, and July 20, 2026.

The decision regarding accommodation for the 2026/2027 academic year will be sent to the email address in the polsl.pl domain by July 30, 2026. The USOSweb system will indicate whether the application has been approved or denied.
- For students residing in student residence halls, the application listed in points 2 and 3 will be considered only after the payment of outstanding balances.
- Students listed in points 2 and 3 who are interested in receiving parking place entitlements through a drawing at the Elektron - Strzecha Student Houses or the Sezam-Karlik Student Houses are required to enter the registration number and brand of the vehicle at the application submission stage – screen in the application – Additional information.
- Students listed in points 2 and 3 who have been granted a place in a student residence hall for the 2026/2027 academic year (their applications have been approved in the USOSweb system) will be automatically charged by a reservation fee of PLN 300.
- The reservation fee must be paid within 7 days of the application being approved in the system. The account number and amount will be visible after logging into
USOSweb -> C Payments -> Unsettled Transactions. - The date the funds are credited to the University's bank account is considered.
- Failure to pay the reservation fee by the deadline will result in the loss of the allocated place in a student residence hall for the 2026/2027 academic year.
- Payments to an account other than the one listed above, as well as mutual payments to other students' accounts, will not be accepted.
- The reservation fee will be applied towards the fee for a place in a student residence hall in October 2026.
- Cancellation of a dormitory space should be reported in the USOSweb system using the "Cancel" option in the application. Students who have paid the reservation fee but cancel their space by September 10th can apply for a refund. By clicking the "Cancel" button, the system will ask for the bank account number for the refund of the deposit.
- For students who do not register their student house application by the deadlines specified in points 2 and 3, an additional application process will be launched in September of this year, provided there are available student house places.
Applications can be registered from September 4, 2026 to September 8, 2026.
- Applications from those who were unsuccessful in securing a place in the student house during the initial application period remain in "ready for consideration" status, and the Accommodation Committee will attempt to allocate spare places as new ones become available within the ongoing recruitment process.

- Relocation from dorms on duty and accommodation in dorms will take place according to the accommodation schedule.
