Student Houses during the holidays 2026
All residents with current student status interested in student houses accommodation during the summer break: from July 13, 2026, to September 23, 2026, are requested to:
1. Register an application for a place in the Student Dormitory in the USOSweb system.
2. The application for a place in the Student House will be available in the USOSweb system from May 19, 2026 to June 20, 2026.
After logging in to your account, go to the "Summer Application" tab.

3. The minimum stay is 14 days.
4. Properly registered applications for dormitory accommodation will be reviewed until June 25, 2026. The application status in the USOSweb system will change to "approved" or "rejected." Please check your account in the system.
5. Receiving a place in the student house for the summer does not guarantee a student house place in the 2026/2027 academic year.
6. Residents who do not receive a positive decision must check out of the student house no later than July 13, 2026.
7. The Student Houses on duty this year are:
in Gliwice:
a. DS. Solaris, Dom Asystenta, DS. Barbara, DS. Strzecha, DS. Elektron, DS. Sezam, DS. Karolinka, DS. Karlik - for current residents of these student houses only,
b. DS. Piast and DS. Ziemowit - for current residents of these student houses only, and for the residents of DS. Ondraszek.
IMPORTANT!
Due to planned general renovation, Dormitory Ondraszek will be closed for use during the summer holidays and in the 2026/2027 academic year.
in Katowice - DS. Babilon,
in Zabrze - DS. Alaska.
8. The condition for accommodating current Residents of the Student Housing Estate in the student houses on duty is settling all fees associated with their stay in the student houses during the 2025/2026 academic year in accordance with the Resident Regulations.
9. Check-in and check-out of students during the summer holidays will take place on weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the following dates:
a. Check-out of students who are not staying during the summer holidays or for the duration of the exam session, by June 30, 2025.
b. Check-out of students staying only for the duration of the exam session, by July 13, 2026 at the latest.
c. Check-in of residents in the student houses on duty listed in point 5.b from July 1 to July 19, 2026, after prior confirmation of room availability by the Manager of the SH on duty.
d. Check-out from student houses on duty from September from 21st to September 25th, 2026. Re-housing should take place in accordance with the assigned places for the 2026/2027 academic year, after prior confirmation of room availability by the SH Manager.
10. Upon check-out from rooms in the Student Houses, all belongings must be removed. Items can be stored free of charge in the Student Dormitory in a specially designated room, which remains locked during the summer break. Details should be discussed with the Residents' Council of the relevant dormitory.
11. In justified cases, check-in and check-out outside of these hours is possible.
12. The room key must be returned to the reception desk – the fee for an unclaimed key is PLN 250.
13. In justified cases, the Student Housing Administration reserves the right to refuse accommodation in the Student House.
14. Due to the need to conduct technical inspections, pest control, minor renovations, and prepare all student houses for the 2025/2026 academic year during the summer break, the Student Housing Administration reserves the right to relocate residents to other rooms or student houses.
15. The Student Housing Administration reserves the right to modify the above rules in the event of special circumstances, in which case it will immediately post a notice on its website
