Air navigation - pilot training

Students of the Air Navigation specialization, in addition to the applicable education program, complete theoretical aviation training for the ATPL(A) (Airlane Transport Pilot License) license and practical training for the commercial pilot license with ratings for instrument flights on multi-engine airplanes (Instrument Rating Multi Engine) and for multi-crew flights (Multi Crew Cooperation MCC) at the certified Academic Aviation Training Center ATO POLSL in accordance with EU Commission Regulation 1178/2011.

All theoretical classes (including specialized courses) and practical classes for students of the Air Navigation - Transport specialization are free of charge. However, the university does not cover the costs of airport travel, accommodation, or mandatory medical examinations. Students are also required to have insurance.

The number of hours of theoretical and practical training complies with applicable legal regulations.

Studies in this specialization are conducted exclusively on a full-time basis.

Full training for the license is provided in the first-cycle (engineering) and second-cycle (master's) programs. Completing only one level of education does not qualify you for the relevant license.

Each candidate for this specialization must possess a valid Private Aircraft Pilot License (PPL(A)) or a certificate from the Civil Aviation Authority (ULC) confirming successful completion of the state examinations – theoretical and practical for the PPL(A) – and a valid Class I aviation medical certificate – <link>

Note: It is possible to complete the PPL(A) course for a fee at the Academic Aviation Training Center (ATO POLSL) during the first year of studies, for students majoring in transport. The training price list is available at <link>
