Communication on lifting the obligation of quarantine or home isolation for COVID-19 infection
In accordance with the Ordinance of the Council of Ministers of March 25, 2022 on the establishment of certain restrictions, orders and prohibitions in connection with the occurrence of an epidemic, abolishing the obligation of quarantine or isolation from March 28 this year, we kindly inform that employees who are found to be infected with COVID-19 should justify their absence from work with a certificate of temporary inability to work (L-4).
Pursuant to the above regulation, as of March 28 this year the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology Regulation No. 182/2021 on the principles of the University's operation in connection with the occurrence of an epidemic has been repealed.
Currently, it is no longer possible to work remotely due to being in quarantine or isolation.
It is also reminded that during a sick leave an employee cannot perform work.
