Golden Honorary Badge of Merit for the Silesian Voivodeship awarded to Prof. Aleksandra Kuzior
Prof. Aleksandra Kuzior, Dean of the Faculty of Organization and Management at the Silesian University of Technology, has been awarded the Golden Honorary Badge of Merit for the Silesian Voivodeship. The award, granted by the Silesian Voivodeship Assembly, was presented during the business inauguration of the New Year organized by the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice. The distinction was awarded in recognition of Prof. Kuzior’s outstanding commitment to combining scientific work with fostering cooperation between academic and business communities for the development of the region.
The Golden Honorary Badge was presented on 20 January 2026 by Mirosław Mazur, Deputy Chairman of the Silesian Voivodeship Assembly, during a meeting dedicated to the latest business trends and practical applications of artificial intelligence tools. In addition to the Regional Chamber of Commerce, the event was co-organized by the local government of the City of Sosnowiec, the Katowice Special Economic Zone, the Zagłębie Chamber of Commerce, the Local Development Agency, and the Zagłębie Sports Park. Aleksandra Kuzior has long been actively engaged in building cooperation among academic, business, NGO, and public administration communities, working towards the integrated development of the Silesian Voivodeship.
