"Between Science and Politics"
The Dean of the Faculty of Organization and Management at the Silesian University of Technology, Professor Aleksandra Kuzior, invites you to a lecture in the series “Faces of Business, Science and Politics. Management in Theory and Practice.”
This Monday, December 1 at 12:00 PM in room C3 of the Faculty of Organization and Management, a meeting will take place with the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education, Professor Marek Gzik.
Professor Marek Gzik has made his mark in the history of the Silesian University of Technology as a co-founder of the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering in Zabrze, which he headed as dean from 2012 to 2020. He was also the initiator and, since 2021, the director of the European HealthTech Innovation Center (EHTIC). Expanding his public activities, he became a regional councilor and chairman of the Silesian Voivodeship Assembly. He then gained the trust of voters, who elected him as a member of parliament. At the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, he serves as Secretary of State responsible, among other things, for investment-related matters.
