Educational Competition "Cyber Genius Student 2025"
Dear Students,
We cordially invite you to participate in the nationwide educational competition “Cyber Genius Student 2025.”
This year’s edition introduces a new format based on online gamification – a combination of learning, fun, and competing for prizes. Participants solve interactive tasks to gain knowledge about safe online behavior. The competition is hosted on the gamification platform http://www.cybergeniusz.edu.pl and runs until November 23, 2025.
Learning through experience and competition
Students embark on a journey to a virtual city, where they attend a university of the future. Their goal is to complete 3 missions, 9 interactive tasks, and 3 short timed exams integrated into the gamified experience.
During the game, participants learn about digital threats, including those found on social media, and the principles of cybersecurity. Tasks are scored and influence the players’ ranking.
The winners will be the top four competitors who earn the highest number of points and achieve the shortest response times in the three short exams.
Prizes
The top three participants will receive cash prizes:
- 1st place: 1000 PLN
- 2nd place: 800 PLN
- 3rd place: 600 PLN
Additionally, the 4th place winner will receive a ticket for themselves and a companion to the concert “We Are All Kacperczyk Tour” (Meet & Greet concert on November 28, 2025, at COS Torwar in Warsaw).
Moreover, the next forty top-ranked players will receive non-cash prizes sponsored by the competition’s Partners:
- 25 codes for free access to the eTutor language platform for an English course
- 15 licenses for ESET security software (6-month trial version)
A competition with an educational mission
The “Cyber Genius Student” competition is organized by the Warsaw Institute of Banking Foundation in cooperation with the Partners of the WIB educational project titled “Cybersecurity in Cyberspace.”
This is not only a competition but also a project with educational and social significance. The initiative aims to promote knowledge about cyber threats and foster safe habits among young internet users. The competition is intended for students who want to test and expand their knowledge of digital safety in an engaging way.
