Meeting of the Social Council of the Faculty of Organization and Management, Silesian University of Technology
Partnerships between the Faculty of Organization and Management (WOIZ) and business as well as local government are an important activity that enables the exchange of experience, mutual motivation, and cooperation.
The first meeting of the WOIZ Social Council in the new academic year was held immediately after the inauguration at our Faculty. The session was opened by the Dean, Prof. Aleksandra Kuzior, Silesian University of Technology, who thanked the Council members for their to-date activity and cooperation. During the meeting, a new Chair of the Council was elected unanimously: Kamil Żbikowski, the Mayor of Zabrze.
The Council includes representatives of business and local government and of leading economic organisations, including representatives of KSSE, RIG, RIPH, BCC, and ŚFPP.
