Faculty of Organization and Management

On October 16, 2025, a ceremonial inauguration of the new academic year was held at the Faculty of Organization and Management of the Silesian University of Technology in Zabrze. The event was attended by the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, Professor Marek Pawełczyk, who in his speech emphasized that the Faculty offers students a rich educational program and serves as an example of bold vision and dynamic development.

Kamil Żbikowski, the Mayor of Zabrze, also extended congratulations and appreciation to Dean Professor Aleksandra Kuzior and the entire academic community, wishing them success in the implementation of their goals.

In her speech, Professor Aleksandra Kuzior welcomed the gathered guests, staff and students, and presented the Faculty’s educational offer, organizational structure, the Dean’s College, as well as numerous achievements of both staff and students.

In conclusion, Professor Kuzior also read a congratulatory letter from Professor Marek Gzik, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education.
The Deputy Minister emphasized the Faculty’s role in engaging the region’s business environment, supporting employment stability, and building a positive image of Silesia among entrepreneurs and investors. He also pointed out its contribution to integrating the local community around values such as respect for knowledge, commitment, responsibility, and the pursuit of competence development.

The official matriculation of first-year students was conducted by Dr. Katarzyna Dohn, Associate Professor at SUT, Vice-Dean for Student Affairs and Education.
Following the ceremony, a meeting of the Faculty’s Social Council was held.
