800 Donuts for the 80th Anniversary of the Silesian University of Technology at the Zabrze Campus
His Magnificence, the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, Prof. Marek Pawełczyk, PhD, DSc, Eng., and Prof. Anna Chrobok, PhD, DSc, Eng., Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education, warmly invite the students of our University to enjoy a donut, autumn tea, and many other attractions.
The anniversary celebration will take place at the Zabrze campus of the Silesian University of Technology on December 4th at 12:00 PM in the main hall of EHTIC, located at 40A Roosevelt Street.
This is a unique opportunity to share a donut and tea with the university's leadership while getting to know each other and engaging in conversation.
"Why donuts? Donuts are a tradition at our University because we serve them during Senate meetings, so they are somewhat associated with the university's governance. We want to involve our students in these traditions and ensure they feel comfortable," says Prof. Anna Chrobok, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education. "We want all Silesian University of Technology students to know the Rector and me so they feel they can reach out to us for any assistance," she adds.
The event will also feature quizzes with prizes and live music. We warmly invite everyone to join us!
