The reading room enables all students and employees of the Faculty of Organization and Management of the Silesian University of Technology to use computers with Internet access free of charge. Computers have access to domestic and foreign Computer Databases of the Main Library of the Silesian University of Technology.
National databases include, among others, information on:
- articles in Polish technical and economic journals and scientific journals
- materials from conferences, domestic and foreign conventions
- databases of the Information Processing Center (OPI) - discussing various scientific issues
- socio-economic issues
- catalogues of foreign books and journals that can be found in Polish libraries
- the scientific achievements of the employees of the Silesian University of Technology
Foreign databases include, among others, information on:
- exact sciences
- mathematics and natural sciences
- physics
- engineering and technical sciences
- information technology and computers
- economics
- law
- social sciences
