If your stay in the territory of Poland exceeds 30 days (for non-EU citizens) or 3 months (for EU citizens) you are obliged to register your address.
EU citizens staying on the territory of the Republic of Poland are obliged to register in the place of temporary residence no later than on the 30th day, counting from the day of arrival in this place.
Non-EU citizens are required to register at the place of temporary residence no later than on the fourth day, counting from the day of arrival at that place.
The declared period of temporary residence at a specific address may not exceed the period during which the foreigner may legally reside in the territory of the Republic of Poland, in accordance with the document confirming his right of residence.
Documents needed:

The form must include the signature of the owner or other entity with legal title to the property, confirming the fact of residence in the property of the person to whom the application relates.
2. document confirming the legal title to the property of this owner or entity – for inspection.
Note!
The document confirming the legal title to the property may be, in particular:
- civil and legal contract,
- extract from the land and mortgage register,
- administrative decision,
- court decision.
3. A valid travel document - for inspection. A foreigner who is a citizen of a member state of the European Union, a citizen of a member state of the European Free Trade Agreement (EFTA) - a party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area or a citizen of the Swiss Confederation may present another valid document confirming identity and citizenship.
4. Document confirming the right of residence in the territory of the Republic of Poland - for inspection.
In order to register your stay, you have to visit Municipal Office in Gliwice and submit documents in the Department of Civil Affairs - first floor of the building of the Municipal Office in Gliwice - entrance from ul. Prymasa Wyszyńskiego.
