Spring Workshops and Spring Traditions in Poland
On March 17, 2026, an integration event titled “Spring Workshops and Spring Traditions in Poland” took place at the SUT Staff Club. It was organized by Welcome Point in cooperation with the Foreign Languages Center.
The aim of the event was to bid farewell to winter and welcome spring by exploring Polish folk traditions. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the custom of drowning Marzanna, including its history and symbolism. A key part of the event was a creative workshop, during which attendees could make their own Marzanna.
The event fostered integration within the international academic community, allowing participants to spend time together in a friendly atmosphere, get to know one another, and exchange experiences. It was open to everyone, regardless of prior knowledge or artistic skills, and provided an excellent opportunity to learn more about Polish culture while celebrating the arrival of spring together.
