Psychological Consultations for Students and Doctoral Candidates
We invite individuals experiencing crises, emotional difficulties, problems in relationships, or difficulties with self-acceptance.
A conversation with a psychologist can also be helpful if you are feeling stressed, sad, or experiencing difficulties integrating into a new environment.
We welcome all students and doctoral candidates of the Silesian University of Technology (regardless of whether they are persons with or without disabilities) who need support and would like, for various reasons, to talk to a psychologist.
Psychological consultations are held at:
G-Home Psychological Center (psychological consultations available in Polish, English, Ukrainian, and Russian) at the following locations:
Gliwice, Zwycięstwa Street 14/45 – Monday to Friday, 2:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.
Zabrze, Pułaskiego Street 17 – Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
Katowice, Sokolska Street 80/2 – Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
On Sundays and public holidays, consultations are available by prior appointment only.
Additionally, we support the academic community in other cities of the region:
Tychy, Grota Roweckiego Street 44 – Mondays and Wednesdays 1:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m., Thursdays 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
Bytom, Przemysłowa Street 1 – Tuesdays and Wednesdays 1:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m., Thursdays 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Chorzów, Tadeusza Kościuszki Street 63 – Tuesdays and Wednesdays 2:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.
Bielsko-Biała, Partyzantów Street 71 – Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
Online consultations are also available if needed.
Please schedule an appointment in advance by email: BD@polsl.pl. In your email, please indicate the city where the consultation should take place and provide a contact phone number. A valid student ID card is required for the consultation.
