On October 29, the first event of the “Let's meet!” series organized by Welcome Point took place. The participants were students, doctoral students and employees of the Silesian University of Technology from various countries.

Thanks to the Foreign Language Centre, they had the opportunity to learn the basics of the Polish language and find out more about Gliwice and the region. During the event, participants also tasted Polish delights, enjoying sweet treats, coffee, tea and cold beverages.

At the end, the tradition of celebrating All Saints' Day in Poland was introduced - foreigners learned what the day means to Poles and how it is celebrated. We spent a pleasant afternoon together in a friendly atmosphere.

We invite you to the next meeting on 26.11.2024, the last Tuesday of November.
