Visit of Management and Production Engineering students to the Zinc Plant of Miasteczko Śląskie

 

On 04.04.2025, students of Management and Production Engineering of the Faculty of Materials Engineering paid a visit to the Zinc Plant in Miasteczko Slaskie. During the field trip they got acquainted with the ISP technology, unique in Europe, which allows to receive simultaneously two metals important for the economy - zinc and lead.

 

 

The visit from the Department's side was coordinated by Materials Engineering graduate Robert Szudy, M.Sc., currently an R&D staff member. Mr. Robert Szudy did both his engineering and master's thesis at the Department of Metallurgy and Recycling, and recently had the defense of his implementation doctorate.
