International Symposium of Welding Departments and Institutes

The International Symposium of Welding Departments and Institutes took place from June 16–18, 2026. Aleksandra Słodczyk, co-author of the scientific article "Structure and properties of mixed 16Mo3–P91 welded joints made using the innovative TIP TIG welding method," actively participated in the event. As part of the symposium program, she presented a paper on the results of her research, which received considerable acclaim from the scientific community.

During the symposium, Aleksandra also participated in the Virtual Welding Competition organized by the "Heat Affected Zone" Student Research Group, taking first place.
