"Industriada" is a great celebration of the Industrial Monuments Route, which has become a permanent fixture in the calendar of events of the Silesian Voivodeship. This event has been connecting residents who appreciate the industrial character of our region for 14 years and gathers countless crowds of visitors.

A very important point on this trail is the Metallurgy Museum in Chorzów, where our Faculty significantly marked its presence. The exhibited stand, where workshops in the field of microscopic metallography were conducted, enjoyed great interest. Participants of these workshops could print out the images observed on the provided microscopes as extraordinary works of art. Workshops were conducted by dr inż. Marta Mikuśkiwicz and dr hab. Eng. Jacek Pieprzyca, prof. PŚ. At the end of the workshops, as befits the place of their implementation, also called the Kingdom of Fire, a pyrotechnic show was organized under the aegis of our Faculty.
