One of the leading universities in the Czech Republic, with a rich history dating back to the beginning of the 18th century. The university conducts education and research in the fields of engineering, IT and economics. The University provides undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs in technical and economic sciences across a wide range of study programs.

The Technical University of Košice is the second largest technical university in Slovakia. It was founded in 1952, but its roots date back to 1657, when the Universitas Cassoviensis was founded in Košice. Currently, the university educates students at 9 faculties in the field of technical and artistic sciences.

The university was founded in 1959 as the second classical university in Slovakia. It currently comprises five faculties - the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Sciences, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Public Administration and the Faculty of Arts.

The university was founded in 1765 and is the oldest university in the world combining science in the field of mining and metallurgy. The university conducts studies at 7 faculties.

The year 1919 is assumed to be the date of the establishment of this university, but it was granted the status of a technical university with a polytechnic character in 1955. Poznań University of Technology educates students at ten faculties, offering a total of 27 fields of study.

The Częstochowa University of Technology was established in 1949 as an Engineering School with one Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Currently, students are educated at 5 faculties, including in the field of mechanical engineering and computer science, production engineering and material technology, infrastructure and the environment.

The Institute of Environmental Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Zabrze is the oldest Polish scientific institution that conducts comprehensive basic and applied research in the field of environmental protection and engineering. The Institute carries out research work, among others in the field of air protection, water protection, protection of the earth's surface. It cooperates with economic units, design offices and administration institutions, carrying out research and implementation works.

The AGH University of Science and Technology was opened in 1919. Currently, the university offers a wide range of education at 16 faculties.

Ferrostal Łabędy is a company established in 1993, continuing over a hundred years of steel industry tradition in the city of Gliwice. Many years of experience in the steel industry, well-trained staff and modern technical equipment make Ferrostal a plant that produces steels of the highest quality parameters for the domestic and foreign markets.

The plant has been operating since 1958, currently operating as a modern mining and metallurgical complex. ZGH "Bolesław" is a producer of the highest purity electrolytic zinc and zinc alloys and the main supplier of these products on the domestic market and the markets of neighboring countries, ie the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria and Hungary.

The beginnings of the company's operations date back to 1959. Currently, the Company is one of the leading producers of copper and refined silver in the world. KGHM also produces gold, palladium and platinum concentrate, lead and other metals in smaller quantities. The main products are: refined (cathode) copper, copper wire rod (for the production of cables and wires), round billets and refined silver.
