We are proud to announce that Piotr Nowak, a student of Management and Production Engineering at the Silesian University of Technology, has become a laureate of the first edition of the prestigious “Universities of the Future” project.

His innovative idea was recognized by the Business Team for Innovative Education, operating under the National Centre for Research and Development. As part of the award, Piotr received a scholarship of 20,000 PLN, which he will use to carry out his own research and development project under the supervision of Dr. Eng. Roksana Poloczek.

The “Universities of the Future” project is a nationwide initiative supporting student creativity, academic entrepreneurship, and the development of modern forms of education. In the first edition, 12 universities participated, and from numerous submissions, the committee selected only 10 top projects that received funding.

The official scholarship award ceremony took place in the Senate Hall of the Silesian University of Technology with the participation of the University authorities: Rector Prof. Marek Pawełczyk and Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education Prof. Anna Chrobok.
