On March 11, 2026, employees of the Silesian University of Technology from the Faculty of Materials Engineering and Industrial Digitalization at the Silesian University of Technology visited the I Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Waleriana Łukasińskiego in Dąbrowie Górniczej, where they conducted a promotional meeting presenting study opportunities at the university.

During the visit, the university staff delivered lectures and organized interactive activities for students aimed at introducing them to study programs, development opportunities, and career prospects related to modern engineering and industry. The meeting was also an opportunity to talk with students about technical studies and the everyday work of an engineer.

The Department of Production Engineering at the Silesian University of Technology was represented by the Head of the Department, Agnieszka Fornalczyk, DSc, PhD, Prof. SUT, as well as Lesław Gajda, PhD, and Szymon Pawlak, PhD.

We would like to thank the school community for their warm welcome and great interest in the presented topics. We hope that the meeting inspired students who are planning their future educational paths and that many of them will decide to continue their studies at the Silesian University of Technology.
