On May 27th, 2025, representatives of the Smart Production Student Research Group participated in the Hackathon Creaton contest, organized by ORLEN S.A. – the strategic partner, and ORLEN Południe S.A. – the content partner of the event. The competition focused on challenges in the fields of chemistry, environmental protection, and energy, serving as an excellent opportunity to connect the academic community with industry.

The student team presented their original project entitled “Production of Smart Clothing Using Monoethylene Glycol (MEG)”, demonstrating creativity, commitment, and teamwork skills. Although they did not place on the podium, participating in the event allowed the students to gain valuable experience, broaden their substantive knowledge, and develop soft skills such as group collaboration and respect for diverse perspectives.
