On May 21, 2026, the 27th International Student Scientific Conference “Materials and Technologies of the 21st Century” was held at the Faculty of Materials Engineering and Industrial Digitalization. The event brought together students, PhD candidates, and young researchers from Poland and abroad, creating a platform for presenting research results, exchanging experiences, and establishing valuable academic and industrial contacts.
The conference was held in a very positive atmosphere and attracted significant interest from participants. During numerous scientific sessions, current topics related to modern material technologies, automation, mechatronics, production management, and industrial IT solutions were discussed. Particular interest was drawn to presentations concerning green technologies, recycling, and additive manufacturing technologies.
The thematic scope of the conference included, among others:
- material technologies,
- characterization and application of materials,
- green technologies and recycling,
- automation, mechatronics, and information technologies,
- additive manufacturing technologies and reverse engineering,
- management and production engineering.
Students of the Management and Production Engineering programme actively participated in the conference, demonstrating a high substantive level of their presentations and strong engagement in scientific discussions.
Special thanks are also extended to the staff members of the Production Engineering programme who served on the committees evaluating participants’ presentations. We would like to thank them for their time, organizational support, and contribution to maintaining the high substantive level of the event.
