On April 17, 2025, the Department of Production Engineering had the honor of hosting representatives from Heraeus – a global leader in advanced technology and materials.

During the meeting, key areas of potential collaboration between the university and the company were discussed. We exchanged experiences in the fields of modern production technologies, automation, and quality management. The Heraeus representatives presented the company’s profile and current R&D projects, which may serve as valuable inspiration for the academic community.

The discussion also covered opportunities for joint diploma theses, internships, and research initiatives. The main goal of the meeting was to strengthen the relationship between academia and industry, which is a vital element of our Department’s development strategy.

We are confident that this dialogue marks the beginning of a fruitful and long-term cooperation.
