* the prices quoted do not include the cost of electricity consumption in rooms and common areas (corridors, kitchens, staircases, common room, etc.). The fee will be proportional to the number of people registered in a given room/segment. The cost is determined on the basis of the electricity rate applicable to the Silesian University of Technology. Notes (tables 1 and 2):
- the tables contain monthly fees and daily rates. The basic billing period is a calendar month,
- in the case of free places and at the request of a resident who wants to use a double room alone, the fee may be reduced by 25% for the second place,
- in the case of vacancies, residents of segments and triple rooms, if they do not agree to full accommodation, i.e., the number of people accommodated is less than the number of places in a given segment/room, they are obliged to cover the costs of the entire segment/room,
- no fee for a child up to 5 years of age (according to the year of birth),
- the fee for a guest in a student room is PLN 15 (does not apply to residents of the Student Housing Estate). A student with a valid resident card may receive guests on the premises of the dormitory who do not have a valid resident card until 24 00,
- an additional fee of PLN 40 is charged for each relocation for all dormitories.
