How to deliver your work?

The work in the form of a Full HD 1920x1080, 720p or 4K video should be sent by e-mail to the following address: rjo7-cpn@polsl.pl or via WeTransfer.

 

Competition task:

Waste segregation is a common issue. How to implement solutions that facilitate the segregation of waste into the lives of families and people living alone? What arguments, activities or actions will convince residents that it is worth doing and will contribute to permanent changes? How to provide people who use production and transport with information on the environmental burden?

 

Get to know the real needs of the city's inhabitants of different age groups and propose pro-ecological solutions that would change their waste segregation habits or indicate how to do it correctly.

 

Prepare an instruction, advertisement or a short video report in the form of a movie. The prepared material should not be longer than 5 minutes.

Information for the teacher:

The competition task is carried out by use of the Design Thinking process. The aim of the activity is to propose a prototype of introducing pro-ecological behaviour for a selected group of people (children, adolescents or adults, including seniors) or for all people, regardless of age. The idea of being active comes down to presenting ecological behaviour and convincing the older generation that pro-ecological activities are available to everyone and that every, even minimal change of habits, can contribute to ecological changes. The team should check on a small group of recipients whether they are willing to accept the proposed solution and introduce it into their routine.

 

Result: Presentation of the prototype of the activity in the form of a video: instructions, advertising for selected recipients or a short video report with possibly attached information in text form with illustrations or photos allowing for a more accurate presentation of the prototype and the process of developing a solution.

 

The task can be carried out as part of the core curriculum in the following subjects:

geography, biology.
