Workshops on scientific communication at the Educons University in Serbia
The Science Popularization Centre of the Silesian University of Technology was invited to cooperation by Educons University. Dr hab. Aleksandra Ziembińska-Buczyńska, prof. SUT conducted a workshop “Communication for environmental sciences – is microplastic ‘catchy’ enough to attract media attention?” which included theoretical knowledge and practical exercises in the field of strengthening competences from scientific communication, modern forms of science popularization and presentation in front of the camera.

Workshops on scientific communication and self-presentation for PhD students as part of the SUBLime project
The workshops were held as part of the project “SUBLime – Sustaiable Building Lime Applications via Circular Economy and Biomimetic Approaches”, implemented by 6 European universities: Silesian University of Technology (Poland), Universidade do Minho (Portugal), Universidad de Granada (Spain), Technische Universitat Darmstadt (Germany), Technische Universiteit Delft (Netherlands), Universiteit Gent (Belgium), as well as companies and industry organizations from Belgium, Spain, Germany, Denmark and the UK.
