Nature photography workshops

Nature photography workshops for photography enthusiasts, which took place on 6 July 2019 between 10 am and 2 pm. The classes were divided into the theoretical part, which took place at the Department of Environmental Biotechnology of the Silesian University of Technology, and the practical part, in the Nature Reserve Dąbrowa in Gliwice.

Practical part: Nature Reserve “Las Dąbrowa” in Gliwice
Bird Ecology in Wrocław, the Nature Department of the Upper Silesian Museum in Bytom and the Institute of Environmental Biology in Kraków. After several years of systematic bird observation, he changes the binoculars to a telephoto lens to get to know and document the fascinating life of animals from up close for long hours, and often even days. In 2000, he was affiliated to the Association of Polish Nature Photographers, and in the years 2002-2004 he was the President of the Silesian District of the APNP. The only two-time winner of the Photographer of the Year title awarded by this Association. He publishes his photos in books, calendars, folders and magazines – both in Poland and abroad. Recently, the photos have appeared i.a. in the following magazines: Rzeczpospolita, Newsweek, Focus, Wiedza i Życie, Polityka. Several publications were also printed by National Geographic, and the prestigious British Birds placed his photographs on its covers. In total, he published over 4,000 photos of nature. He has written several books, including the popular “Bird Atlas” by Pascal, which has already been reprinted five times. He shares his experience with younger generations, also working as an instructor leading EU-funded photography workshops.
