How to deliver your work?
Personally or by letter to the Office of the Science Popularisation Centre of the Silesian University of Technology, ul. Konarskiego 22B, 44-100 Gliwice.
Remember that the works should be delivered in the form of a poster, any technique is allowed,
A3 format in landscape orientation.
Competition task:
The competition task consists in analysing well-known literary works and searching for examples of respecting and saving food, examples of saving and re-using clothes, producing necessary items and tools from the available, unnecessary materials.
The examples should be presented in the form of a poster. Any size of work and technique allowed. The poster will be assessed and then it will take part in the poster exhibition at the final gala of the EcoCity competition.
In addition, an interview on the above subject should be conducted with people over 70 years of age. The interview may be in the form of an audio or video recording or in writing.

Information for the teacher:
The aim of the competition task is to find examples in the required readings of respecting food, everyday objects, e.g. re-use of clothes, and to obtain similar information in interviews conducted with people over 70, e.g. with grandparents, great-grandparents. An indication that many models of operation for the circular economy in everyday life can be found in fiction or directly addressing older family members and friends.
The result of the competition task are examples of respecting and saving food, examples of saving and re-using clothes, producing necessary items and tools from the available, unnecessary materials.
The task can be carried out as part of the core curriculum in the following subjects:
technique, biology, Polish language, history.
