The Science Popularisation Centre of the Silesian University of Technology (SPC), founded in 2017, is a university-wide organizational unit of the Silesian University of Technology, which operates in the field of promotion and popularization of science and research, in cooperation with other University units and research centres in Poland and abroad. 

And in simple words? Well, SPC is a place where employees, doctoral students and students of the Silesian University of Technology talk about science “in simple words”. 

They discuss and present their research, inventions and technologies, they inspire and enthuse anyone willing to discover science with them. Lectures, workshops, laboratories, picnics and festivals, exhibitions, videos and popular science articles – it’s the SPC's bread and butter. 

The Science Popularisation Centre of the Silesian University of Technology is a meeting place of scientists with the society, where everyone, regardless of age and education, can find something for themselves.
