Valentine's Day is the time of those in love. And it was about popular science love that we talked about on 18 February 2018. “Popular science Valentine’s Day Reading” is an event organized by the Science Popularisation Centre of the Silesian University of Technology and the Municipal Public Library in Gliwice. This great meeting was held for those who did not know how to talk to their children about sex but wanted to find out, for those who wanted to talk scientifically about love, but also for those who are interested in what such amorous courtship look like in animals. Who was talking about it? The author of the book “Romances, courtship and philandering” – a popular scientific book on reproduction and love habits in the natural world, Szymek Drobniak, PhD, who is an evolutionary biologist and populariser of science.
