MSc. Nicolas Oliveira Decarli is a PhD chemistry student at Silesian University of Technology, specializing in the development and characterization of new TADF (Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence) and RTP (Room-Temperature Phosphorescence) organic emitters for OLED applications. He completed his master's degree in Chemistry at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), focusing on the modification and characterization of acylated polyetherimide polymers. His undergraduate studies were also in the field of chemistry at the same university where he earned master's degree. His undergraduate thesis revolved around the development of new biosensors utilizing carbon paste electrodes for the detection of Dopamine.
Research interests:
- thermally activate delayed fluorescence (TADF),
- room temperature phosphorescence (RTP),
- aggregated induced emission (AIE),
- electrochemistry.
