During her PhD (2013-2019) at the Federal University of Paraiba (UFPB, Brazil), she received a one-year international exchange scholarship through the CAPES-COFECUB program to conduct research at the University of Bordeaux, France. She also earned a Brazilian PROCAD scholarship for research at UFSC (Brazil) in 2016. In 2022, she was awarded a one-year CAPES-COFECUB postdoctoral fellowship to continue her research at Centre de Recherche Paul Pascal (CRPP, France). Most recently, she got the opportunity of joining the CONE (Poland) as postdoctoral research fellow under Dr. Marli Ferreira's supervision.

• cyclization/photocyclization,
• heterocyclic compounds,
• liquid crystals,
• delayed fluorescence.
