Małgorzata Skorupa, Msc, Eng.

Małgorzata Skorupa is a PhD student at the Department of Physical Chemistry and Technology of Polymers, Silesian University of Technology. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the same University. Her research interests include biofunctionalization of conductive surfaces using electrochemical methods, surface analysis methods, electrochemical characterization, and in vitro cytotoxicity evaluation. She has gained international experience during multiple internships in renowned academic institutes, including University of Galway, Ireland, University of Freiburg, Germany, and University of Auckland, New Zealand. To date, she has co-authored 9 papers in international scientific journals and 1 monograph chapter.

Research interests:

  • electrochemistry,

  • cell-material interactions,

  • conducting polymers.

  1. Multilayer electroactive coatings with hierarchical structure for controlled delivery of neurotransmitters, 2022-2027, NCN Sonata bis 2021/42/E/ST5/00165 - investigator
