He has started a PhD in 2020, with a primary research focus on the synthesis, characterization, and immobilization of photosensitizers, e.g. phthalocyanines and porphyrins. The scientific pursuits encompass a broad spectrum of applications, from the creation of light-acticated antimicrobial coatings to the use of phthalocyanines as innovative drug delivery systems for photoimmunotherapy.

Research interests:

• singlet oxygen.
