Centre of Climate and Environment Protection

On November 22 and 23 2021, The Silesian Stadium in Chorzów will become an arena for discussions and debates on air, environmental, and climate protection during a hybrid (stationary + online broadcast) event entitled "CLIMATE-CON 2021 - Silesian Climate Convention".

The main goal of the event is to educate and raise awareness in the field of air quality improvement - both in local governments and in society. During the two-day event planned:

• 15 thematic sessions (discussions, presentations of papers on air and the impact of pollution on health),
• 3 workshops (workshops for local governments, workshops for students),
• 2 screenings of ecological films,
• accompanying events: small talks session, concert.

The event is carried out as part of the integrated LIFE project "Implementation of the Air Protection Program for the Małopolskie Voivodeship - Małopolska in a Healthy Atmosphere" (LIFE-IP MALOPOLSKA / LIFE14 IPE PL 021), co-financed by the LIFE financial instrument under the European Union funds and the National Fund for Protection Environment and Water Management.

Participation in the event is free of charge.
