Prof. Joanna Ferdyn-Grygierek became a member of the jury of the prestigious PLGBC Green Building Awards 2021 competition.
The aim of the competition is to distinguish the participants' involvement in the development of sustainable construction in Poland, as well as to raise awareness of this development among participants of the construction market in Poland and around the world.
The competition is open, one-stage, and includes construction investments designed, implemented and implemented as well as interiors in buildings implemented in Poland, as well as products and services of companies operating in Poland. The competition does not require any entry fees.
The jury evaluates the submitted projects in terms of their values ​​related to ecological construction and sustainable development, as well as architectural and aesthetic values. Social aspects and any interesting innovative ideas addressing the combination of the above-mentioned values ​​are also taken into account.
Applications are evaluated by an interdisciplinary competition jury, diversified in terms of competences and the field of education:
